Membership is open to men and women over the age of 18 years old who are of Italian descent or who are married to a person of Italian descent.  We also welcome those of non-Italian descent as non-voting Associate Members.   Our lodge holds monthly dinner meetings from September to June for members and have separate monthly Board of Directors meetings and various other committee meetings as well as social events and fundraisers.

Benefits of Membership

As a member of the Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy, Garibaldi Lodge, you will be a brother/sister to a group who not only share the same culture, but share a passion for helping others, for building a better life for the Italian community in Winnipeg and the overall community of Winnipeg.  We work hard, get a lot done, and have fun doing it.

As a member, you will be expected to attend meetings regularly, get involved and contribute.  You will be able to vote at meetings (except Associate Members) and hold positions on the Board and on committees.  You will also enjoy our social outings and be eligible for a member discount on our annual Gala tickets.

Dues

Membership dues are for the calendar year and are $50 for a regular members, $50 for associate members, $25 for senior members (retired) and FREE for youth (18-25 years).

New Member Application

Prospective members must be sponsored by an Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy, Garibaldi Lodge member who can vouch for their character.

To become a member, you must fill out the application form below.  We will consider your application at the next Board of Directors’ meeting and you will be advised by the Membership Chair of the result.
